I decided to try to use more sketches in my card making, to liven things up a little bit. I discovered a sketch challenge on Operation Write Home and decided to try it out. Here's what I came up with.
I also made this card entirely out of scraps. It's a new year's resolution of mine to try as use up as much stuff this year before I allow myself to buy more. I see myself using a lot more scraps to make similar cards. This was super easy and I like the way it turned out! Thanks for looking!
The embossing is a great way to add repitition! The pop of green is pretty, too.
ReplyDeleteI SOOO love the subdued greys and bright lime green together - brilliant!
ReplyDeleteWow, such a great card! Reallllly love the green against the grey black! The butterfly literally pops off the page, nice job with the sketch, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI also like the way it turned out. This was a great take on this sketch. Thanks for sharing.
